چکیده
Abstract Background Adult hypopharyngeal venous malformations are rare. Unlike hemangiomas, require surgical excision wherever feasible. We describe the case of a malformation and use coblation to achieve complete excision. Case presentation A 28-year-old male presented emergency department with sudden-onset hematemesis, melena for 3 days. Examination revealed broad-based reddish polypoidal lesion (mulberry like) arising from left aryepiglottic fold medial wall pyriform sinus. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance scan angiogram neck was done, which an intensely enhancing vascular lesion. He underwent selective embolization feeder vessels achieving 80% reduction in post run blush. excised toto using considering its superior hemostatic control maneuverability. Conclusion The is relatively safe easy technique learn perform management tumor hypopharynx upper airway. When appropriately performed, it provides bloodless field causes minimal damage surrounding tissue. However, knowledge external approaches mandatory complications.
